Karlibow Team Update

At the first of the year our president, Chris Meyer, will be retiring from the industry that he has spent over 40 years in.

Over those four decades, Chris has earned the respect of every team member, partner, and client he ever came into contact with. Any type or level of relationship with him was effortless and it would take you little time to know you were dealing with a sincere, transparent, thoughtful, and smart individual. Spend ore time with him and you will also find that he is generous, kind, down to earth, and just flat-out fun.

Those of us who did have the privilege of working closely with him, always knew we could count on him for support, straight answers, and great insights. He was also seemingly available 24/7, so we are hopeful that he gets a bit more sleep in retirement.

Chris retires with a great sense of pride in what we have accomplished over the last 18 years. Under his leadership, we brought Karlibow back to the great name that it had for decades. Surely, I am biased when I say this, but Karlibow does enjoy a great reputation. This is evident with our team members and client retention rates, which I suspect are unmatched. Then of course the consistent string of awards that we earn year after year.

On a personal note, I did not know who Chris was when he started, but we quickly formed a partnership made possible by shared core values and goals. We quickly agreed that we would be working for the team and not vice versa. Our number one priority was to give the team the tools they needed to service our customers effectively and get home on time. It was a give-and-take relationship and despite having different backgrounds, not one disagreement. It has truly been a special time in my over thirty-year career and that has meant the world to me.

The team and I are very committed to making him proud after his departure and we continue to build upon what we have done during his tenure with us. Hopefully, like you, he stays subscribed to our newsletter to follow along.

Chris, to say you will be sorely missed is a big understatement. You are and will always be Karlibow and we are incredibly thankful for all you have done and more importantly your friendship. Of course, we do wish you the very best in your much-deserved retirement!
